11am – Noon | Adults | Led by Barbara Bethea. For adults learning English, this is an opportunity to practice and improve everyday communication skills in a friendly group. Topics include conversations when shopping, visiting the doctor, on the job, meeting with your child’s teacher, and more.
Workshops are free. No registration required.

LEGOS and More
11am – 1pm. Bring the family to build a LEGO structure, play a board game, assemble a puzzle, or browse the books in the library.

The public is invited to celebrate the SIGNAL artists as the Museum kicks-off its summer season with an Opening Night Party in the Garden. The party will feature great food and live music from The Dennis Collins Trio. A native of Detroit, Michigan, a city known for producing hit singers, Dennis says he knew even as a young child that he was destined to be a singer. Throughout his career he has recorded and performed with musical greats such as James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Luther Vandross, Jason Mraz, Beyoncé, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, Celine Dion, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Sting, Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle, Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Buffet, and many others.

The purveyors of John Jay Homestead Farm Market are local farmers, bakers & craftsmen who seasonally provide a variety of fruit, produce, meats, fish, dairy products, baked goods, prepared foods and handcrafted products.
