The Town of Bedford will be observing the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. A ceremony will be held at 8:30 AM on Sunday, September 11 in Bedford Village Memorial Park at the flagpole. The Bedford Fire Department has organized the ceremony which will include a wreath laying, a memorial service and blessings from members of the local clergy. The Bedford Fire Department, Supervisor Chris Burdick and the Town Board invite the community to this solemn ceremony in honor of those who perished in the terrorist attacks.
This is a public event and all members of the Bedford community are welcome to attend.
