“At approximately 9:40pm on December 26, the Bedford Police Department responded to 11 Oak Road in the Katonah section of Town for a report of a man down.  Upon arrival, officers were met by members of the victim’s family who led them to the victim located in the yard of his residence. The victim, identified as 39 year old David Cuse, was pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedics from Westchester EMS. Initial investigation led detectives to believe Cuse was attacked sometime during the pre‐dawn hours on December 26th.  Preliminary investigation indicates cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. At this time, we do not believe this to be a random act. The scene was processed by the Bedford Police Detective Bureau, with assistance from the Westchester County Department of Public Safety’s Forensic investigation unit.  Autopsy will be performed by the Westchester County Medical Examiner. Investigation is active and ongoing.  Anyone with information is requested to contact the Bedford Police Department at (914)241‐3111.”
