* Patricia Morrisroe is a feature writer and author, whose work has appeared in New York, Vanity Fair, the New York Times, Vogue, among many others.  She is the author of two memoirs and a biography of the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.  Her novel about Beethoven will be published in 2020.  She lives part-time in Pound Ridge.

Connecting to Collections – Furniture: Chippendale Style @ 2:00 –3:00 pm   
Thomas Chippendale was a very influential furniture maker during the 18th century, whose work was and is highly sought after by American collectors, and aristocrats. The Jay family collection has several pieces that highlight the subtleties of the Chippendale style. This guided tour will show the construction and design of Chippendale furniture, and its unique elements that separate it from other styles of the era. Regular admission fees apply.

The art of Gabriel Ceslov
12noon – 4:00pm | All ages | FREE | Visit the historic Muscoot Farm mansion and see this amazing artwork.Gabriel Ceslov is an artist living in Westchester NY. He has studied Classical Painting and Drawing at New York’s Grand Central Art Academy and at The New York Academy of Art, and Abstarct Expressionism with master painter Kikuo Saito at The Art Students League of New York. He has also studied Pein-Air Painting in Amalfi, Italy, and recently in Amsterdam, Holland. His paintings have been exhibited in many gallery solo and group shows, and private collections. He is a member of the The Art Students League of New York, The Art Directors Club of New York, and The Lower Hudson Valley Plein Air Painters. To Gabriel, the challenge of the blank canvas has always been a call to creative freedom and total expression. He is also a Creative Director and an award-winning User Experience Designer/Architect, mentor, writer, educator, and public speaker.

The purveyors of John Jay Homestead Farm Market are local farmers, bakers & craftsmen who seasonally provide a variety of fruit, produce, meats, fish, dairy products, baked goods, prepared foods and handcrafted products.
