Thematic Tour: The New York State Constitution
2:00 pm–3:00 pm  | Adults, Family | John Jay is credited as the lead author of New York’s first constitution, written in 1777 just months after America declared its independence from Great Britain. New York’s constitution established three separate branches of government and is widely credited as a key influence on the structure of the United States Constitution. Take a docent-led tour of John Jay’s Bedford House highlighting Jay’s contributions to the formation of State of New York. Regular admission fees apply.

Free 6 Week Workshop: July 10, 17, 24, (no class 7.31), August 7, 14, 21
10:00am-12:30pm | Adults 55+ | Plan to attend this six-week workshop if you have to manage a chronic condition, or care for someone who does. Tools and techniques will be explored for better management of chronic health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure; ways to communicate effectively with health care professionals and family members; health care savings; and ways to enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
