The Finance Office, with its staff of four, functions as the business office for the Town.

Along with the responsibility of paying the Town’s bills, this office also manages the payroll for the Town’s 121 full time and 44 part-time employees. In addition, this office assists the Supervisor with the preparation of the Town Budget and the Capital Plan, and has responsibility for budget administration.

Following a public hearing on December 4, 2018, the Town Board adopted the 2019 Town Budget on December 18, 2018.  The budget meets the Town Board’s objectives of staying below the tax cap, maintaining or improving Town services and providing a sustainable financial course in the coming years. The proposed rate is $0.60 higher than the rate for 2018, which represents a 2.81% tax rate increase.

At its December 18, 2018 meeting, the Town Board adopted the Town’s Capital Plan for 2019.
